Emailing school email address’s?

I am considering a email marketing campaign to education establishments. I have some concerns with how my email will be perceived, will it go in to the right inbox or will it be seen as spam, sending out so many, and also will my IP address be black listed, and me labelled as a spammer.

Help with this matter would be most appreciated

In the best case, you get away with it and they all come back to you asking for more information etc … Could you cope?

I suggest,
1. Pick a local establishment with whom you can establish a rapport.
Send them your message, then follow up with a phone call or better yet a personal visit. You can ask your questions and use their response to tailor your message.
2. Send the revised message to another four or five local establishments and repeat the phone call process.
3. Assume a 1 in 10 response rate, how many can you cope with during the day? Let that dictate the number of messages you send out. Oh, and pick 1 in 100 for a follow up call to see how well you are doing.
