How To Accurately Track PPC Conversion?

I Setup and manage Google adwords ppc accounts, I currently use Google conversion tracking, I’m looking for more accurate tracking, and for something that will give me more info about the order (for e-commerce sites) like order amount so that we could clearly report to our customers and figure out exact ROI.

HBX has a very good ecommerce tracking feature where you can connect your PPC campaigns to it. However, their stats packages are priced steeply aroun $25,000 per license.

Use Google Analytics and properly configure the Goals setting. They also have a funnel analysis as well as capability to track dollar amounts. Though it may not provide you with the level of granularity you want, but at least it is free and it’s a start
