adsense cpm ctr
how do one decrease page cpm and page ctr in adsense?
how many cliks is allowed per blog of a particular ad.if a particular ad is cliked 10 times will anything be credited to my account.
If you are actually just letting visitors click on the adsense ads, you wouldn’t have to worry about decreasing your page CTR or CPM.
There’s no ceiling as to how many clicks are allowed per website/blog per ad — as long as the clicks appear natural and not due to some hanky panky.
Google will not credit any clicks to you if they feel and see that there’s a PATTERN of unnatural clicking — or to be blunt about it, cheating. For example:
- 1 ad clicked 10 times from the same IP address every day
- same IP address clicking 5-10 times everyday for the last 20 days
Google is not saying how they are catching what they call “invalid clicks” but rest assured that they are looking into this — and catching a lot of publishers cheating (and kicking them out of the program).
You have to remember that the first responsibility of Google is to satisfy their advertisers, where the money comes from; and not the publishers. They need to protect the interests of advertisers at all cost. As a result, any clicks perceived to be less than above-board are investigated oftentimes leading to the cancellation of the account of the advertiser.
Just concentrate on creating great content in your site, getting traffic and carefully FOLLOW the Program Policies of Adsense and you won’t have to worry about decreasing your CPM and CTR.
