Town employee shoots cops

A MUNICIPAL employee of Dumangas, Iloilo
is facing criminal charges for shooting
two police officers and three civilians
Wednesday evening.
Rey Domines, a casual employee of the
Dumangas municipal hall, is facing
multiple frustrated murder for wounding
PO1 Wainright Digdigan and civilians
Jomar Alicante, Wilson Docdocil and Mark
Denila.
Domines is also facing a charge for
attempted murder to be filed by PO2
Roger Parcon.
The shooting happened at the Dumangas
public market Thursday evening after the
drunken Domines allegedly bumped into
several bystanders outside the market.
The accident resulted into a fracas when
Domines scolded the kibitzers.
Digdigan and Parcon responded to the
melee but Domines allegedly drew a 9mm
pistol and opened fire at the crowd and
the police officers.
